Human Resource Manager
Job Position:
The HR Manger will be responsible for completing administrative and operational duties for the organization’s human resources department. Reporting to the Company Controller, the HR Manager will provide support for the administration of all human resource programs including, but not limited to compensation, benefits, leave, payroll, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition and employee morale, and training and development.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of Federal, State and local laws and regulations governing Human Resources
Knowledge of Federal, State and local laws and regulations governing Employee Payroll
Knowledge of QuickBooks and Service Titan preferred
A minimum of two - three years in human resource management experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Ultimately, you’ll ensure that the HR department is organized and operates smoothly to hire and retain our employees
Payroll preparation and tracking/providing relevant data (absences, bonus, leaves, etc.)
Resolve any payroll errors.
Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
Adding new employee information in all HR databases.
Ensure all employee records are maintained, according to state mandates and updated with new hire information or changes in employee status.
Process of documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations etc.)
Complete termination paperwork.
Assist with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, regulations 401K, and all insurances.
Handling complaints and grievance procedures
Assist initial orientation to newly hired employees.
Work with employees to answer benefits questions and assist in processing life events and open enrollment elections.
Conduct new hire orientation and benefits orientation to build a strong foundation for new employees and increase employee engagement.
Assist in the development of policies and procedures.
Review Employee Benefits Annually and Work with Insurance Agent to renew insurances.
Other related duties that may become necessary/appropriate to assure that the facility follows current laws, regulations, and guidelines concerning the operation of our facility.
Any duties as requested by Supervisor.
