You understand that an HR manager's job is about creating a fantastic associate experience, and you work hard every day to ensure that associates are at the center of your decisions by making sure People First is your mantra. You will work with your local HR team, but you also partner with other HR team members and HR Centers Of Excellence nationwide to drive the HR strategy priorities.
You have great integrity, and you know that an important part of the HR Manager’s job is to provide direct feedback to help our managers and associates raise the bar. You are well versed in how to handle sensitive employee relations concerns and strive to uphold not only policies but our values by the decisions we make.
The position will be based in Boise, Idaho, Plano, Texas or Pleasanton, California.
Main responsibilities
- Cultivate a culture that drives a fantastic Associate Experience by leading all people and culture-related strategies for your client groups, including Diversity and Inclusion, Associate Engagement, Talent Management, Training, Education, Compensation, and Compliance Management.
- Execute the HR Centers of Excellence (COE) strategies on Talent, Learning and Development, Diversity and Inclusion and Total Rewards
- Lead Corporate HR projects/programs to drive an associate experience that supports the company's business goals.
- Participate in business strategic planning: seeking solutions to business challenges, identifying skill/resource requirements, designing organization changes, and aligning HR programs to business objectives.
- Drive organizational change by assessing culture, climate, and motivation, and provide guidance on change management and organization design.
- Lead succession, career, and development planning processes for clients. Guide the assessment of bench strength, potential and readiness, facilitate talent reviews and coach on development planning.
- Participate in recruiting process; drive diversity objectives; and actively participate in selection process for key leadership positions.
- Champion your team's performance improvement process by working with Talent Management and business leaders to define strategic direction; drive goal setting and individual targets; monitor consistency; and tie performance to career development, succession planning processes and compensation.
- Coach business unit leaders on all people-related matters.
- Maintain knowledge and ensure compliance of laws and regulations, as well as leverage best practices in employment law, human resources, and talent management.
- Collaborate with Asset Protection/Legal on internal investigations, compliance charges and litigation.
- Ensure effective delivery of learning curriculum and partner with L&D on strategy for development needs.
- Ensure effective execution of all corporate policies and practices for your team, including compensation and benefits plans.
The salary range is $95,400.00 to $123,900.00 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates.

- Strong focus on customer service, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to manage demanding timelines and multiple priorities.
We believe the successful candidate has these qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor's degree with emphasis in human resources, labor employment law, training, business, or other related fields; PHR/SPHR certified, Master's or an MBA degree preferred.
- 5+ years HR related experience where consulting, culture, performance management, training, general understanding of employment law, compensation and benefits, organization capacity and general human resources skills have been gained.
- Experience driving talent and culture, backed by metrics and data.
- Experience providing HR Partner support to a Technology and Engineering client group preferred.
