A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $49,200.00 - $73,810.00

Job Description Summary
The Associate HR Generalist provides support and general assistance in all areas of human resources in a manufacturing setting. This position frequently partners with management to meet human resource needs of the plant along with working closely with the HR team to provide knowledge and expertise to all team members.
Job Description
- Manages hiring efforts for all hourly plant positions.
- Manages the process of plant hourly job requisitions, including internal advancement opportunity process.
- Works with managers to oversee all data changes for all hourly plant employees.
- Oversees hourly employee attendance administration.
- Audit weekly payroll prior to submitting to corporate for accuracy.
- Assists in the tracking of all personnel activities: such as turnover, applicants, new hires, transfers, promotions and terminations.
- Coordinates Tuition Reimbursement as part of the plant apprenticeship program.
- Assist in communicating employee benefits and annual open enrollment and wellness activities.
- Create the monthly plant bulletin/newsletter for distribution.
- Serves as a member of the plant Organizational Pillar Team in order to move plant VeLOCity initiatives forward.
- Serves as an HR representative on assigned committees, projects and community involvement activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Human Resources, Psychology, Sociology, Business or related field or relevant experience
- 1 plus years of Human Resources experience, preferred
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Billingual, preferred
- Must be able to interact professionally and positively with employees at all levels in the organization
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Ability to work Monday through Friday during office hours but be able to shift to various hours to meet the needs of a 24/7 business with off-shifts
- Workday, Kronos, payroll and WorkLoud scheduling software experience preferred
- Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word and Power Point
- Knowledge and understanding of employment laws and regulations (e.g. FLSA, Affirmative Action, ADAAA)
- Knowledge and understanding of FMLA, OFLA, WC and STD claims administration
- Ability to effectively present information to groups and respond to questions from managers, supervisors and employees
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and see them to completion with minimal supervision.
- Knowledge and experience with interviewing and employment practices
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
- Experience with writing reports, business correspondence and policies/procedures
