The Human Resource Generalist will execute the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) department including onboarding, recruiting, managing benefits, supporting managers as necessary with discipline and terminations.

Job Overview:

  • Manage employee benefits, and employee relations.
  • Assist with benefits program, handle open enrollments, cancellations, and other qualifying events as needed
  • Submits and reviews background checks and employment verifications.
  • Recruits for Management positions
  • Tracks work anniversaries and handle other employee recognition/engagement programs.
  • Assist in maintaining employee digital files in the HRIS system.
  • Maintain Learning Management System and develop new training to remain compliant with Federal, State, and local laws.
  • Monitor trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in Human Resources.
  • Handle employee complaints and our disciplinary process
  • Other HR Generalist duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Minimum (3) years of experience comparable to HR Generalist.
  • Minimum (1) years of experience in Recruiting
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven time management skills with an ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or related field preferred.
  • PHR/SHRM-CP preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
