Mission Foods is looking for a talented HR Cleck in its Pueblo, CO location who is responsible to ensure the operation of the reception area,payrol, and HR duties.


SUMMARY:

Inputs data from time correction sheets or individual time cards to computerized payroll system. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the payroll field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


RECEPTIONIST DUTIES:

  • Answer and transfer incoming calls.
  • Professional front office appearance (requirement)
  • Greet all visitors in a professional manner
  • Handle inbound and outbound customers
  • Coordinate delivery of packages
  • Light office duties: filling, copying, inter-company mail.

PAYROLL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process ADP on Mondays.
  • Process hours for temporary employees.
  • Correct daily miss punches.
  • Assist Supervisors and Managers with ADP questions.
  • Distributes checks on Fridays to employees.
  • Maintains payroll files.
  • Maintains ADP clocks to ensure they are synchronized and troubleshooting issues.
  • Enrolls new employees’ fingerprint to ADP clocks.
  • Post transfer hours in Kronos according to Supervisor and Managers request.
  • Assist Management with month end transactions in ADP.
  • Responsible for balancing payroll runs and answering employee questions.
  • Monitor and process new hire wage step increases.
  • Post in ADP: call off’s, tardies, vacations, LOA, personal days (union employees, etc.)
  • Process ESN for all transactions as need and/or apply.
  • Process manual checks in the event and employee was not paid properly, vacation in advance, termination, etc.

HR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receives and processes job applications.
  • Monitor absences and tardiness. Prepares proper disciplinary action related to attendance.
  • Post monthly employee’s birthdays & anniversaries.
  • Provides support to the HR Department.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge of the principles and practices of personnel administration.

Knowledge of the organizations and operations of administrative programs.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts and detail oriented. Apply concepts such as fractions and percentages.

  • Excellent Costumer Service towards employees and external visitors.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma. One-Two years of administrative experience and/or human resources experience.


LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Fully bilingual English/Spanish.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work is typically performed in a normal office setting (90%) and walking (10%). The noise level is usually moderate.
