This position assists with the administration of the day to day operations of the human resources functions and duties

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

* Maintain applicant files on database

* Data Entry and Employee file maintenance – to include insurance/medical files

* Issue recruitment advertisements

* Assist with new employee orientation

* Provides administrative support to HR Staff

* Front-end customer service to employees

* Partial responsibility for all functions of the Human Resources Department

* Complete and mail written correspondence

* Assists with maintenance of training resources for agency staff

* Maintain applicant files on database

* Maintain all employee files in an orderly fashion

* Assists with Issuance of recruitment advertisements

* Assist with new employee orientation

* Contribute to the accomplishment of Human Resources procedures

Job Knowledge – Must Know

* Knowledge of general office practices, procedures, and computer skills

* Computer proficiency in Word documents and spread sheets

* Proficient in payroll module of the agency financial software.

* Knowledgeable in state and federal employment laws

* Knowledge of agency Personnel Policies and Procedures

Minimum Requirements of the Position

* Must be a US citizen; have a Permanent Resident Card, or an alien Registration Receipt Card (Form I-551)

* Must have and maintain a clean driving record (NOT TO EXCEED 6 PTS)

* Must have and maintain a criminal history absent of convictions for violent crimes or for any crime against children

* Graduate of high school or equivalent.

* One-year experience in personnel related position

* Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs and have the ability to learn new software/database programs.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

  • Warner Robins, GA 31093: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
