Primary Function:
The Human Resource Administrator will report to the Human Resources Manager and will provide payroll and human resources support for the Banjo operations.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the bi-weekly processing of payroll for all employees. Ensure accurate and timely submissions are made.
- Responsible for the accurate and timely input, maintenance, filing and reporting of all employee data, including HRIS and payroll systems.
- Create and generate a variety of payroll reports for internal consumption, for communication to parent company and for various regulatory purposes.
- Process new hires/terminations; respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, policies, and procedures.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.
- Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Provides clerical support to the HR department.
- Conducts or assists with new hire orientation.
- Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 2 years payroll processing experience.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Proficiency of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Resourceful and well organized.
