South Kingstown Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, a 96-bed skilled nursing, dementia, and sub-acute facility located in West Kingston, RI, has an exciting opportunity for a candidate to join their team with the following qualifications:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Track time and attendance. Compile hours from time clock and monitor sick & vacation balances
• Process weekly payroll. Maintain employee deductions
• Maintain and update payroll and HR software for all employees
• Maintain employee files
• Coordinate new hire process. Ensure all required paperwork is completed and filed accurately
• Administration of Workers Comp and maintain OSHA log
• Administration of FMLA
• Administer employee benefits. Enrolls employees in medical, dental, life, 401k
• Provide various payroll and employee reports
• Provide assistance to Full Charge Bookkeeper
• Various other miscellaneous clerical duties as assigned

Qualifications and/or Experience

• Two to four years of related experience
• Must be organized and proactive
• Must be able to handle confidential information with discretion
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products
• Experience with Paychex Flex computerized payroll a plus
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in written communication skills
• Ability to be a team player
• Ability to work with diverse groups/populations.
• A positive, solution-oriented individual with a willing attitude
• A proficient multi-tasker
