Job Summary
The HR Data Analyst will collect, compile, report on and analyze HR data, metrics, and statistics, and apply data to support the HR department and make recommendations related to recruitment, retention, legal compliance and HR initiatives,
Serves as administrator on applicable HR enterprise technologies and acts as a liaison to external departments as required and delivers accurate, efficient and effective customer service,
Assists with data tracking, reporting and HR administration as needed,
Essential Job Functions
- Collects and compiles HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resource information system (HRIS) and payroll outputs, management and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, government labor statistics, competitors practices, and other sources.
- Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Supports HR leadership and the recruitment team with identifying and recommending reasonable short- and long-term goals, and benchmarks for key performance metrics.
- Supports with various performance management, compensation, onboarding and recruitment projects by providing accurate data and analysis in order to achieve organization goals.
- Runs reports as needed from HRIS system for HR team and/or leaders.
- Assists in development of best practices and processes for HR operations.
- Assembles data and reporting for periodic reports as needed such as EEO-1, AAP, etc.
- Conducts HR personnel audits to ensure data compliance of all systems.
- Participates and engages in all department activities, events and meetings as necessary.
- Assists with HR department projects and administrative duties as necessary.
Formal Education and Job-Related Experience
- Bachelor s degree in business, information technology, management or related discipline required.
- Experience in information systems, data analysis or related field required.
- Familiarity with local, state, and federal laws involving employment, HR, and HR policies is preferred.
- High level of engagement and teamwork; ability to work proactively
- Working understanding of human resources and employee relations/customer service best practices
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills Ability to create a positive and meaningful customer service.
