HR Compensation & Benefits Specialist (Remote)

JOB SUMMARY: The Total Rewards Analyst is a key part of PCNA’s Total Rewards group. This position will support the day-to-day administration of the company’s compensation, and health and welfare programs. This position will also administer the company’s leave and disability programs. In addition, this position is responsible for ensuring data integrity in company and third-party systems.
FUNDAMENTAL DUTIES:
- Performs day-to-day operations and general oversight of benefits administration for the Health and Welfare Benefit plans (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and AD&D, EAP, COBRA, HIPP, and miscellaneous voluntary insurances) including enrollment and communications.
- Supports coordination between PCNA and third-party brokers and benefits providers
- Support the BE WELL Wellness program and the Wellness Committee
- Administers the annual merit and incentive processes
- Partners with HR Business Partners to provide recommendations for grading and leveling of positions relying on analysis of external market data and internal equity data
- Assures job families, job codes, positions, ranges, job descriptions, etc. are accurately managed in the HRIS system; proactively ensuring data integrity
- Supports the preparation of reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to senior leadership
- Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations, local, state and federal laws relative to HR (payroll, benefits, OSHA, leave laws, etc.), and best practices.
- Support the I-9 program including auditing, document verification/reverification and handling of E-Verify issues with HRBPs.
- Serves as a point of contact for auditors (both internal & external) and helps with data extraction and related audits.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Strong Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements, both adopted and pending, affecting employee benefit programs.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, detail orientation, and multi-tasking skills.
- Strong quantitative, project management, written and oral communications skills.
- Advanced knowledge of HRIS systems as it relates to total rewards administration.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to process confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in compensation, benefits and leave administration for large employer, preferably in a centralized corporate role with multi-state oversight.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Microsoft Office proficiency including advanced to expert Excel skills (Pivot Tables, v-lookups, etc.).
