Job description
We are seeking a knowledgeable, enthusiastic individual to join our Operations team be the lead liaison with our housing programs and property management and manage the process between tenants and landlords.

Responsibilities include:
Obtain and coordinate Housing First Master Leases

Coordinate maintenance requests in Yardi, including scheduling the coordination of those to be addressed with the maintenance team and staff.

Assist with the management of annual property taxes, including but not limited to ad valorem applications.

Manage and maintain tenant and property records in Yardi.

Manage agency’s vehicle insurance, vehicle logs and annual registration renewals.

Liaison with housing programs and property management

Work with tenants to help them understand lease obligations and property rules.

Verify rent for clients based on income eligibility.

Assist clients of supportive housing programs with housing searches

Assist with rent collection and connecting clients to financial literacy resources.

Work closely with housing program staff regarding housing matters.

Supervise comprehensive home inspections for The Lord’s Place and partner agency as necessary (for HUD Habitability Standards, ADA compliance and rent reasonableness), documenting reports on all inspections.

Supervise the Housing Specialist

Performs additional duties as assigned by the Operations Supervisor according to business needs.

Requirements include:
High school or GED required; two-year degree preferred.

Two years of supervisory experience required.

Sales or marketing experience preferred.

Must obtain and maintain HUD-approved Housing Quality Standards (HQS) Certification and successfully complete HUD’s Online Visual Assessment Course for Housing Locators.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

Excellent computer skills required, especially in the area of database creation.

Familiarity with real estate preferred.

Requires ability to operate business equipment used daily within the organization.

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
