Housekeeping Room Attendant

General Overview

As a Room Attendant, you would be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests efficiently and with Hamptonality! You will be core in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service.

Qualifications

• You are 16 yrs or older (required).
• Job requires full mobility and ability to push, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Ideal candidate is energetic, able to multi-task and maintain excellent levels of cleanliness in both the guest rooms and public areas.
• Reliable transportation

Compensation

• Full Availability and meeting room times (39 min or less / room) - $14.00/hr
• Full Availability and Training - $13.50/hr
• 4 days a week Available - $13.00/hr
• Less than 4 Days a week, no limitations - $12.50/hr
• Less than 3 Days a week available or limitations to schedule - $12.00/hr

All room attendants are eligible to receive tips!! :)

Work Environment and Scheduling

• Days start around 9 am and the goal is to be done before 3 pm each day!
• Perfect job for those who have class or family obligations in the evening.
• Weekends and holidays required for first year
• Can make additional requests off after 6mo

Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms as assigned, including but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming
• Change and replenish bed linens, towels, and guest amenities, as needed
• Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed
• Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis
• Dispose of trash and recyclables
• Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Perform guest stayover service, as needed
