Position Purpose/Major Function of the Position:

To further the mission of Colorado Outdoor Education Center by ensuring offices, guest rooms, common areas, and other specified areas are kept in a clean and orderly condition.

Essential Job Functions:

• Cleaning all areas of the conference center & guest rooms, sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, changing linens, etc.
• Turnover guest rooms and suites daily. Includes and is not limited to: changing over beds, pillows, comforter sets, toiletries, sundry items, mopping, wiping windows, dustings, all tasks pertinent to a commercial hospitality operation.
• Inventory all cleaning supplies, room amenities, linens and other equipment; replace when appropriate.

Other Job Duties:

• Notify superiors on any damages, deficits and disturbances
• Deal with reasonable complaint/requests with professionalism and patience
• Adhere to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices
• Perform any additional duties as assigned

Qualifications: (Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience)

• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience managing a small staff
• Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Attention to detail
• Customer oriented and friendly
• Prioritization and time management skills
• Working quickly without compromising quality

Physical Requirements of the Position:

• Ability to complete regular 8 hour shift on feet
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Ability to maneuver over uneven terrain

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $13.65 - $15.00 per hour
