School has started back and Troy University is in need of additional Janitorial staff for their Night shift at their main campus here in Troy. These are positions that are open now for hiring, for the right qualified personnel.

Night shift works from 9:30 pm to 6:30 am Monday thru Friday. Starting pay is $10.50 an hour.

The job consists of working in administration buildings and class rooms, emptying waste and other materials into proper containers for cleaning, recycling or disposal. Cleaning floors, stair wells, rest rooms and facilities using designated mops, brooms, vacuums, chemicals, supplies and equipment. Dust clean and polish furniture and other equipment.

Candidates must have a clean criminal background report. All candidates must be able to pass a drug test and be able to pick up 50 pounds or more and have the ability to walk up and down flights of stairs.

These are full time jobs leading to permanent hire with benefits. Previous experience is always a plus. We are an equal opportunity employer.
