Promotes the Ministry, Mission and Core Values of the Arlington of Naples and Lutheran Life Communities by demonstrating professional and ethical work practices while fostering excellence in hospitality and customer service. . Responsible for general cleaning of resident rooms/areas, public areas, departments and lounges following the predetermined schedule prepared by the Director.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

· Cleans and supplies resident rooms, lounges, lavatories, bathrooms, offices, and any other area assigned. Maintains common spaces including entrances, offices, corridors, dining rooms and public restrooms.

· Performs terminal cleaning of resident rooms and makes beds for new admissions, as assigned. Maintains common spaces including entrances, offices, corridors, dining rooms and public restrooms.

· Maintains a safe environment by adhering to all safety rules and regulations, making suggestions to improve safety conditions, and following procedures for fire drills and other emergencies.

· Assists in cleaning emergency spills observed or upon request. Maintains assigned equipment for cleanliness and have repairs made when needed. Observes and reports the need to repair equipment, furniture, building, and fixtures.

Education/Experience/Skills

· Must be able to read and write legibly in English.

· Must be able to comprehend and perform oral and written instructions and procedures.

· Must be able to verbally communicate information to customers and other employees.

· Previous housekeeping experience preferred.

· Work schedule may include working mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
