Frostburg State University, Physical Plant Department, seeks applications for a full-time, non-exempt Housekeeper position. Hourly rate $15.00; University System of Maryland benefits package included.

Description of Ongoing/New Duties
Responsibilities: Under direct supervision, maintain University building interiors and ensure clean, orderly, and attractive conditions in assigned areas according to set tasks and frequencies. Provide housekeeping services including but not limited to vacuuming; refuse collection; sanitizing and disinfecting restrooms; sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors; and cleaning windows, blinds, and furniture. Operate standard cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, buffers, and scrubbers. May be required to move furniture and equipment. Other work-related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED. Successful completion of a pre-employment physical examination.

Other: Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience. Preferred Qualifications
Previous housekeeping experience and basic computer knowledge.
