Job description

Discharge Patient Room Cleaning; Full-time; 40 hrs per week; Shift 3 pm - 11:30 pm includes every other weekend. 13-week assignment.

Job Duties: Provides detailed cleaning and disinfection of vacated patient rooms upon patient discharge.
1. Cleans commodes, tubs, sinks, plumbing, mirrors, windowsills, furniture, equipment and any other dust gathering services.
2. Spot wash walls and doors including frames, Spot cleans and vacuums carpets. Mops floors.
3. Replenishes toilet tissues, paper towels, and soap.
4. Notify appropriate staff of room/bed readiness.
5. Cleans and makes unoccupied beds. Cleans and services patient rooms after receiving discharge notification and prepares patient unit for new admission.
6. Responds to other requests as needed.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
