Job Summary:
The housed substitute position is an entry-level position that provides classroom, food service, and custodial support to Centers in the community.
Substitute in the classroom, kitchen, or for custodial duties when a team member is absent. May substitute for a portion of a day, an entire day, or for a long-term absence.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age
- High School Diploma / GED
- COVID Vaccination
- Proof of immunizations: MMR, Tdap, and a clear TB test or x-ray
- Submit a current AZ Department of Public Safety Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card prior to start date
Skills Desired:
- Six (6) months prior experience working in a licensed childcare facility
- Possess a Child Development Associate credential (CDA) for preschool classroom-based services
- Possess an Associate’s degree from a recognized educational institution in the field of Early Childhood Education or closely related field as determined by the agency
- Able to read, write, and speak Spanish
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Wages:
$15 an hour DOE
