Responsible for maintenance and repair of all interior/exterior areas of the hotel. Must have Black or Blue Seal NJ State Boiler Operators License. Starts at $30 hourly.

What you will have an opportunity to do:

Maintains and repairs equipment such as TV mounting, connection, cabling, remote; Keyless system and other security key systems; all areas of back and front of house, guest/public areas, HVAC; electrical; plumbing; carpentry; fitness equipment, retail areas and all areas managed by the hotel. Availability to work various hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to use hand and power tools, climb and work from a ladder at various heights, including the roof.

Job Description:

• Identifies problems with equipment, initiates work orders, able to accomplish work orders and complete all necessary repairs in accordance with practiced standards.
• Performs preventive maintenance on systems including low pressure boiler, refrigeration system and maintains mechanical logs
• Responds to guest concerns related to equipment and repairs
• Complete the duty rounds checklists and corrects noted problems
• Responsible for correct use of office equipment, EMS system and Life Safety Systems
• Willing to be cross trained in all aspects of the department
• Initiates and maintains effective communication within operational areas
• Reports and follows up on maintenance deficiencies
• Keeps exterior pathways clear of snow/ice and safe for all
• Maintain and operate within code compliance with NYFD and DOB guidelines.
• Help in other job classifications when necessary to ensure highest level of guest satisfaction is provided

We require vaccination card or verifiable medical/religious exemption. Our

exempt form will need to be filled out and approved by our legal department.

We do a background check but do not test for marijuana
