HOTEL AVAILABLE POSITIONS/OPEN-HOURS:

1st shift: 8am-4pm

2nd shift: 4pm-12am

3rd shift:12am-8am

A typical day as a hotel front desk agent, involves registering/booking guests in and out of their rooms, while accommodating any special requests.

During check-in, a front desk agent will verify a guest’s method of payment, assign rooms, and bill out guest . Front desk agents will also try to upsell guest rooms, by sharing available alternatives and options.

Key Requirements:

  • Successful history as a front desk agent or related hospitality experience
  • Must have a flexible work schedule

Responsibilities:

  • Register & process guests and their assigned rooms
  • Accommodate guest requests
  • Communicating with hotel staff on the status of guest rooms
  • Up Selling guest rooms and promoting hotel services
  • Handling cash payments
  • Maintain a clean and neat front desk area
  • Answer phones and operate a switchboard.
  • Route calls to specific people.
  • Answer inquiries about company.
  • Greet visitors warmly and make sure they are comfortable.
  • Make coffee and set out food.
  • Ensure reception area is tidy.
  • Coordinate mail flow in and out of office.
  • Handle phone calls from people calling in sick.
  • Gather personal information.
  • Hand out employee applications.
  • Billing out people when necessary.
  • Validate parking tickets.
  • Issue parking passes.
  • Send email and faxes.
  • Take and relay messages.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Night shift
  • Overtime
  • Weekend availability

Experience:

  • Hotel experience: 1 year (Preferred)
