Job Summary

The SureStay Hotel San Diego Pacific Beach has an opportunity for a Breakfast Attendant. Duties are to prepare, monitor, and tend breakfast, while ensuring an attractive presentation of the food and a clean surrounding area while elevating the guest experience and creating a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized service to all guests.
• Regularly communicate and converse with all guests.
• Prepare food and beverage according to recipe.
• Fully understand and comply with all food safety requirements.
• Set up breakfast area before guests begin to arrive; display the food and beverage in an organized and attractive manner according to brand standards/requirements.
• Efficiently replenish buffet with food, beverages and/or supplies as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of buffet area throughout the morning by reorganizing and tidying food area as necessary.
• Properly disposes of used plates, utensils, napkins and/or cups as necessary.
• May be responsible for keeping inventory stocked by ordering additional food and/or supplies as needed.
• Respond quickly to guest requests in a friendly manner; follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Maintain regular attendance, is consistently on time, and observe prescribed work, break, and meal periods in compliance with standards.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include compliance with the dress code.
• Perform any other duties as requested by the supervisor.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

• Relevant hotel-related experience and/or training.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.25 per hour
