Job description

Position Summary:

The host greets guests, takes/confirms reservations and updates the reservations system. The host also answers the phone and checks the coat/ belonging of the guests. The host ensures that the guests are shown to the proper table with menus. Works with managers to ensure the table seating is properly handled and planned. The host sets the tone for the guest experience. Participates in tip pool.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet guests and patrons personally or on the phone

• Offer appropriate seating arrangements

• Present menus or other items as directed by management

• Be responsible for all checked items

• Take reservations if directed

• Maintain clean and organized host station and coat check area and ensure that all guest needs are met

• Notifying management of any concerns or issues

Skills, Abilities and Experience:

• Prefer 1 Years’ experience in the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Well-organized with ability to multitask

• Ability to operate point-of-sale systems

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $100.00 - $300.00 per day

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
