Join the Plamondon Hospitality Partners team as a Sales Manager for our Courtyard by Marriott and SpringHill Suites by Marriott properties in Hagerstown.
Our team is looking for an experienced and ambitious Sales Manager. The Sales Manager is responsible for cultivating and sourcing leads to generate top-line revenue to exceed budget goals by interacting with the community and traveling when necessary to develop and maintain accounts and generate business by creating action plans using the SMART technique.

Responsibilities:

• Direct the sales efforts of the hotel by preparing annual revenue budgets, marketing plans and quarterly sales action plans.
• Cultivate and source leads through cold calls, telemarketing, direct sales, referrals, newspapers, networking, sales blitz, Tourism leads and Marriott/Hilton National Sales.
• Critique weekly/monthly STAR data reports with action plans to improve occupancy and ADR penetration.
• Conduct weekly sales meetings in conjunction with Director of Sales and Marketing.
• Maintain rapport with competitor hotels, lead sources, clients, and the local community.
• Attend community relations meetings (Chamber, Tourism, etc.).

Requirements:

• Related college degree preferred or substitute equivalent sales experience.
• At least 2-3 years of Direct sales and sales management experience.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail with ability to prioritize tasks to meet goals.
• Ability and desire to perform outside direct sales.
• Ability to perform the physical aspects of the job including sitting, bending, climbing, standing, reaching and walking for up to 90% of the workday and lifting and carrying up to 60 lbs.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and proper insurance coverage for business related travel.
