An exciting opportunity is available for an Acute Care Occupational Therapist OT in Central Washington.

The Acute Care Occupational Therapist OT will join a Healthcare Organization that has been serving the community for over 50 years. This small community hospital offers comprehensive medical services including emergency care, outpatient surgery, laboratory and tele-medicine care. This person will join a facility that cares deeply about community engagement and patient satisfaction. Reporting to the Directory of Therapy, the Acute Care Occupational Therapist OT will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with hospital leadership to build this new service line and define departmental goals and promote positive relations between patients and employees. This person will work in a department that contains several physical therapists but will be the first occupational therapist to join the team. The Acute Care Occupational Therapist OT will work autonomously under little supervision for the majority of the time.

The Acute Care Occupational Therapist OT will evaluate and treat patients referred for occupational therapy. This includes performing initial patient assessments and developing treatment plans. This position will then implement treatment plans to achieve goals and document treatment for third party payors and regulatory agencies.
