Healthcare IT Security Compliance Analyst
  • Serves as the organization’s resource to regulatory and accrediting bodies for matters relating to Information Technology privacy and security
  • Works with policies and activities for Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Cisco ISE (NAC), secure remote access, SOC, Mobile Device Management, and phishing email defense
  • Involved with necessary vulnerability audits, penetration testing, forensic IT audits, and investigations
  • Ensure that outputs improve cyber security
  • Works with Lead Network Architects, and application and outsourced IT Vendors regularly
  • Under legal advisement works to establish and maintain appropriate privacy and confidentiality consent, authorization forms, and information notices and materials reflecting current organization privacy-related practices and requirements
  • Ensures SOP are followed for receiving, documenting, tracking, investigating, and acting on all complaints concerning the organization’s privacy policies in conjunction with the CISO
  • Coordinates privacy safeguards with security officer to ensure consistency in development, documentation, and training for security and privacy requirements.
  • Maintains documentation regarding levels of access granted to each information system user in the organization and reviews these levels of access periodically and when the status of the workforce member changes – controlling access, as appropriate
  • Supports all audits concerning state or federal privacy laws or regulations
  • Regularly reviews data reports on privacy-related issues and compliance
  • Collaborates with the Privacy Officer to develop and implement security policies, procedures, and guidelines necessary to direct and carry out the objectives of the organization information security program; research and recommend new security measures for implementation; and monitor and test the security practices employed for effectiveness
  • Monitors all policies and procedures for; baselines security safeguards, risk assessment; security risk management; security administration; security of the computer network; security of computing assets; physical security; disaster recovery plan; third party service provider security due diligence
  • In coordination with legal counsel and outside vendors, as appropriate, investigates, responds to, and remediates security incidents
  • Oversees third parties who perform technical system maintenance activities in the organization to ensure their compliance with appropriate security practices align with the organizations information security program
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
  • REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor Degree (preferred) or equivalent IT Certification Security Certifications such as (GFACT, GSEC, GCIA, GCIH, CySA+, CASP+, Security+, etc.)
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Healthcare IT or Information Security
  • Security IT Experience within a Healthcare, Medical environment
  • PHI theft
  • Vulnerability Risk Management
  • Threat Detection and Response
  • Web Application Security-testing and Firewall-vulnerabilities
  • Offensive security-penetration testing
  • Cloud Security-Azure Cloud Security Best Practices
  • Cloud Infrastructure Entitlement Management (CIEM)
  • Malware cybersecurity
  • HIPAA Privacy Laws
  • Excellent communication skills; documentation and verbal with the ability to communicate to all levels- act as an IT Security champion by prioritizing and sharing of ideas and feedback to senior leadership
