This 100+ bed short term acute care hospital offers a wide range of health services to patients in the surrounding communities, including: 24-hour emergency care, adult and neonatal intensive care, cardiology, maternity services, advanced inpatient and outpatient surgery, radiology and diagnostic imaging, a full-service laboratory, and outpatient care. This organization has achieved accreditation by The Joint Commission, and is a part of a larger state-wide healthcare organization, which will allow room for career growth to the experienced Facilities Management leader!

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer CEO, the Hospital Director Facilities Management will oversee and coordinate all daily and long-term operations of the Engineering Department, including physical plant maintenance, biomedical maintenance, security, upkeep of hospital grounds, and construction activities. The Hospital Facilities Management Director will collaborate with other departments and members of the Engineering Team to direct repair activities, construction, renovation, security services, and energy management activities. Additionally, this role will take on duties of the Safety Officer to include evaluation of safety risks and providing safety education to employees as needed.

Requirements for the Hospital Director Facilities Management role will include:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience within an inpatient hospital/ acute care setting
  • Associate's Degree or higher, or substitute of 10+ years of experience
  • Previous experience with biomed and security
  • The Joint Commission survey experience
  • OSHA Certification is highly preferred
