Full Time Hospice Aide-Greenville Area

Hope Health Care is looking for a compassionate and experienced Hospice Aide/CNA to join our growing team on mission to inspire and encourage all people facing life-limiting illness through impeccable care, education, and emotional support to insist that every day counts and every person's story matters.

The primary functions of this role includes:

• Visit patient homes and nursing facilities in Greenville and surrounding areas.
• To provide compassionate and professional personal care to include activities of daily living such as: feeding, bathing, dressing, assisting with ambulation.

The ideal candidate must:

• Understand the hospice philosophy and the needs of the terminally ill.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and be an excellent communicator.
• Possess the desire and skill set necessary to work with patients at the end of life.
• Demonstrate Hope Health Care's agency values - compassion, dignity, integrity, professionalism, balance and growth.

Primary qualifications include:

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with a current certification in Texas.
• At least two years experience in a hospice setting preferred but not required
• Possess excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written and be able to follow clinical direction.
