JOB DESCRIPTION for FARM (dogs/horses) PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING

Lots of cleaning/disinfecting – anywhere the dogs and horses go…

House, Dog room, Puppy house, car, horse trailer etc…

Feeding! All animals.. help maintain electric fence.. (for dogs.. and horse pastures)

Letting dogs/puppies in and out, in and out, etc.

Grooming – bathing horses sometimes, all dogs/puppies – brushing/ears/nails

Walking/basic training = dogs/puppies

Outdoor stall care = remove weeds and poop, some weed pulling or spraying in certain areas

Help with taking photos of dogs and puppies for advertising.

Playing with baby filly every time we feed.

Tack cleaning, organization.

We are on 5acres (700ftx300ft) – must be fit to lift grain bags and feed buckets and be able to walk the property a few times, and do everything else on the farm.

Please do not apply if you:

• do not have ‘experience’ with dogs/puppies AND horses!
• are not serious about a job with animals (and make them priority)
• are not serious about applying for this! job
• do not have a vehicle
• live more than half an hour from SE CR 337 and hwy 121 – and that is a problem for you
• are unwilling to work some weekends

Optional: if able – litter registrations, office type stuff for dog breeding kennel and competition horses..

Job Types: Contract, Full-time, Internship, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Holidays
• Monday to Friday
• Night shift
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay
• Commission pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Morriston, FL 32668: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Pet care: 1 year (Required)
• Equine experience: 1 year (Required)
