Full-time position available with the Health Department, HIV Services Division located at 2400 Troost
Salary Range: $4,619-$6,928/month
Normal Work Days/Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., *telework available

Responsibilities
- The Contract Compliance Manager is a critical member of the Kansas City Health Department’s HIV Services team.
- Position provides administrative support to develop and manage contracts of the HIV Prevention, Housing, and Care Services programs.
- The position is critical to ensuring proper and efficient execution of 50+ contracts and grant agreements per year related to the provision of HIV related services in the Kansas City region.
- Contract management duties will include drafting and processing all contracts and grant agreements, coordinating with KCHD Fiscal and Grant Management staff, maintain tracking database and filing system for all grant agreements and supporting documentation.
- Position will also assist with contract monitoring and compliance for multiple grants/services including but not limited to Ryan White Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services, Outpatient Ambulatory Health Services, Oral Health Services, and Health Education Risk Reduction services.
- Position also provides administrative support for all Requests for Applications/Proposals (RFA/RFP) including developing RFA packets and coordinating reviews.
- The Contract Manager is responsible for supervision of the division’s Administrative Assistant and Senior Administration Assistant.
- Position reports to the HIV Services Manager and coordinates with the division’s program managers to create an integrated and cohesive system of care. ¿¿¿¿¿¿
- Applicants should have thorough knowledge of Project Management methodologies, marketing/communications techniques, use of electronic database for tracking management activities and outcomes, the principles and practices of business or public administration, the principles and practices of office management and office equipment used.
- Applicants should also have considerable knowledge of business/government contracting.
Qualifications
REQURIES an accredited Bachelor's degree and 3 years of progressively responsible, professional experience in business or public sector administration, with at least 2 years at the level of Senior Administrative Assistant; OR an equivalent combination of qualifying education and experience, with at least 3 years at the level of Senior Administrative Assistant.

The minimum education requirement for positions that allow for experience equivalency for an accredited degree is a high school diploma. Unless otherwise specified, an accredited degree must be obtained from a college or university listed with the U.S. Department of Education and recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education.
For positions with a salary grade of EX6 or higher that require an accredited degree, qualifying professional experience must be obtained AFTER the accredited degree is obtained.
Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal history/background check is required for all positions. Some positions require a post offer drug screen and/or physical.
If appointed, non-residents must obtain residency inside Kansas City, Missouri's city limits within nine months.
