Huffmaster Crisis Response is recruiting experienced Histotechnologists for a potential labor dispute that could occur at an Acute Care Facility in North-West Oregon in mid August.

Hourly Rate: $55/Hour

Weekly Guarantee: 60-Hours (If Ready, Willing, and Able to Work Each Scheduled Shift)

Shift Length: 12-Hours

We Provide:

• Air Travel or Reimbursed Mileage (One Round-Trip) If You Live Within 500-Miles/8-Hours of the Job Site
• $45/Day Per Diem for Meals and Incidentals
• Single Room Hotel Accommodations

Job Requirements:

• Must have one of the following:
• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Biological Science + at least 1-year of recent experience in the last 3-years, working as a Histotechnologist in a Clinical Histology Laboratory; -or-
• At least 2-years of recent experience in the last 5-years, performing embedding, microtomy, and histologic staining; preparing reagents, and stains, and performing other related tasks; -or-
• Successful completion of a Certified Histotechnology Training Program + at least 1-year of recent training and experience in the last 3-years, working as a Histotechnologist in a Clinical Histology Laboratory

• HT (ASCP) or HTL (ASCP) Certification
• Experience in preparing and using reagents, test media, strains; performing standardized laboratory tests and examinations
• Proficiency with cutting tissue in cryostat
• Proficiency in processing tissue for immunofluorescence studies
• A high degree of accuracy and quality of laboratory work.
• Epic EMR Experience Preferred
• Health care file requirements if applicable

Must be willing and able to travel and deploy for a minimum of 45-days.
