Lynker is currently seeking a talented Data Entry Specialist to support the Highly Migratory Species (HMS) Trade Monitoring Program at the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Office of International Affairs, Trade, and Commerce Division (OIATC).

Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Enter and manage data from electronic files and hardcopy statistical and re-export documents received by the Import Monitoring Program.
• Transmit the data for QA/QC review.
• Edit the entered data based on input from QA/QC data reviews.
• Identify and communicate problems and efficiency issues related to the data entry process and data entry screens to Import Monitoring Program leads for corrections and modifications.
• Perform document preparations.
• Have enough expertise to aid in training additional data entry staff.
• Viewing and entering data into web based platforms including data entry screens.

• One year of experience performing data entry duties on similar high volume and time sensitive data entry contracts.
• Ability to use Excel, enter complex data from hardcopy documents accurately into electronic databases, and engage with the public in a professional manner
• Good communication skills
• Database management experience
