Together Homecare of Indianapolis is actively searching for Licensed Home Health Aides (HHAs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our Private Duty team on a 13-week contract.

This specific position provides a unique contract opportunity for a 40 hour a week schedule as a Licensed Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified CNA (CNA) to work one on one with our clients. Together Homecare services a wide variety of clients who need a caregiver. We have patients who need care in various environments. Caregivers can work in patient's home as well as take them to doctors’ appointments, errands, etc. Prior to working with a client, Together Homecare can provide you the opportunity to meet a few families and assess the environment where you would be providing care. We will work to find a schedule that works for YOU and YOUR needs.

HHA/CNA Daily Tasks Could Include

• Bathing

• Toileting

• Hygiene

• Meal prep

• Light house cleaning

HHA/CNA Responsibilities

• Provide health care services in patients residences

• Perform domestic and household tasks

• Transport and accompany patients to doctors office or to hospital

• Assist with client’s personal care activities

• Maintain patients care records and document provided services

• Assist patients with mobility

• Instruct and counsel patients and families on diet and exercise

• Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support

HHA/CNA Skills

• Proven working experience as home health aide

• Ability to monitor vital signs and to collect specimens

• Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards

• Caring and compassionate personality

• Current CPR certificate

• First Aid training

• Valid driver’s license

Requirements

Home Health Aide (HHA) / Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Requirements:

• Valid Home Health Aide (HHA) License in State of Indiana OR Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification

• 18+ years old

• Ability to effectively communicate with office staff and patients

• Valid Driver’s License or State ID card
