As a member of the Technical Services group, the Technical Services Specialist (TSS) provides technical support and installation services to departments. This person assists with the installation and maintenance of all computers, servers, networking, and other equipment. Works closely with the Systems Administrator to ensure all infrastructure components continue proper operation.

You will be paid overtime for extra hours you do over the week and time and half for any work you do on weekends or public holidays

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Addresses support tickets as needed.

· Troubleshooting of business applications, desktops, servers, networks, and collaboration utilities (Teams, Zoom, Webex, etc.)

· Works closely with vendors to implement and support 3rd party applications.

· Participates in planning and implementation of new business applications.

REQUIREMENTS

· Must have a solid understanding of computers and servers (both hardware and software), moderate networking concepts and a demonstrated willingness and aptitude to learn and apply new technologies.

· Strong communication skills in dealing with all levels of the corporation are a must.

· Ability to escalate problems for any technical support needed for resolution of problems.

· A general understanding of IT and various technologies, including but not limited to: Basic networking concepts Moderate level Windows Server skills Proficient in Microsoft applications (Office 2016, Microsoft 365 products, Azure AD)

· Strong desktop troubleshooting skills.

· Ability to work with little or no supervision.

· A+ Certification Required.

· Additional certifications a plus (Network+, Cisco, MCSE, etc.)

· Experience with Solar Winds products a plus. Experience with ticketing systems (specifically ServiceNow) is a plus

· Experience with VMware and Veeam a plus

ADDITIONAL SKILLS

This is an on-call position (rotational). Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
