Help Desk Technician Level 1 (MSP)

We are a Managed Services Provider that supports a variety of small to medium sized businesses in the D.C. metro area. We are seeking an eager Help Desk Technician Level 1 (MSP) to join our Help Desk. The Help Desk Technician Level 1 (MSP) will work alongside 15 other L1-L3’s allowing you to learn while on the job. Successful Help Desk Technician Level 1 (MSP) candidates will have experience with WindowsOS, Windows Server, AD, GPO, O365 management, Hyper-V or VMware, and Azure is a plus.

Help Desk Technician Level 1 (MSP) must have at least a year of IT Help Desk experience, with previous Managed Services experience highly preferred!

Help Desk Technician Level 1 (MSP) Requirements:

  • Windows 7, 8, 10 installation, support, and troubleshooting
  • Windows Server installation, support, and administration (2012/2016/2019)
  • Windows Active Directory design, deployment, and administration
  • Microsoft Exchange Server 2010/2013/2016 – Administration, deployment, and migration
  • Microsoft 365 Management
  • Managed antivirus solutions
  • Enterprise backup solutions
  • TCP/IP network design and troubleshooting
  • Configuration, deployment, and support of network routers, switches, wireless access points, and firewalls
  • Microsoft Office – Basic use, installation, and troubleshooting (including Project and Visio)
  • Virtualization Technologies (Hyper-V and VMWare)
  • Web hosting, DNS, and SSL certificates
  • Linux installation, support, and administration is a plus
  • Mac OS installation, support, and troubleshooting is a plus
  • Education and Certifications Preferred, Not Required
