What you will be working on:
Assist customers of our Gastroenterology practice that call into our offices. This position requires a strong and focused effort on providing quality customer service over the telephone and in other forms of communication. A professional demeanor is always required, as the protection of sensitive patient information in accordance with HIPPA regulations.
What you’ll know:
· A successful applicant must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
· High School Diploma or GED required, some college is preferred
· 1 year medical office experience including knowledge of medical terminology and insurance and scheduling
· Previous experience managing multi-phone line system
· Strong verbal and written communication skills with patients, co-workers and providers
· Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite
· Fluent in Spanish or Korean a plus
· Must be a team-player with excellent multi-tasking and interpersonal skills
· Compassion for patient needs and a high degree of professionalism
Mandatory participation in the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Vaccination program is required for all Center Health Care Personnel (HCP).
