The Health QA team is seeking a QA Engineer to help us ensure that our Health related applications are high quality and user-focused. We’re looking for critical thinkers who would like to play a key role qualifying iOS and watchOS applications and the frameworks that support them. We practice agile, fast-paced development that relies heavily on a tight relationship between Development and QA.
Key Qualifications
- Experience working in Software Quality Assurance on iOS
- Experience performing ad-hoc testing on Unix based systems to investigate and debug difficult problems and independently work towards results
- A passion for health and health-related technology
- Creative thinker and strong problem solver with meticulous attention to detail
- An enthusiasm for user-focused design & high-quality technology
- At ease and adaptable in a dynamic and informal environment
- Highly organized, creative, motivated, and passionate about achieving results
- Excellent communication skills are a requirement to facilitate close interaction with development teams, management, and other organizations within Apple
- Inquisitive and seeks to take on everyday problems in innovative ways
- Experience in the Medical and/or Health industry is a plus
- Background with validating and debugging iOS applications
Description
As a member of our fast-paced group in Apple Health, you will have the unique and rewarding opportunity to qualify and improve the software that allows our products to delight and inspire millions of Apple’s customers every day. In this position, you will handle responsibilities such as the functional testing of the Health application. You will create, design, and implement test plans and test cases, risk analysis, & integration testing across the system. We are looking for a teammate who will be comfortable scoping and bringing up new test plans, executing manual test passes, and improving testing procedures.
Education & Experience
BS in Computer Science or equivalent on-the-job experience in QA

- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $76,000 and $146,900 annualized, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
