Position: Head Trainer

Job Description:

The Head Trainer is an integral member of the staff. This position provides strong leadership to the clients and Support Trainers and ensures the delivery of excellent fitness training keeping within company standards and by following the BLUSH® Boot Camp training program with professionalism and positive energy that creates a welcoming atmosphere for Women of all fitness levels.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Is an ambassador for a healthy fitness lifestyle.

· Conducts daily BLUSH Boot Camp sessions. (minimum sessions required per week)

· Conducts Balance Meetings with members during normal operating business hours. (minimum required per month)

· Capture photos and post them to the social media account at least twice a day.

· Manage and lead a group of certified Support Trainers.

· Conducts weekly meetings with Support Trainers.

· Ensures Support Trainers are meeting the needs of the location and fulfilling their job requirements.

· Oversees Support Trainer music playlists.

· Works with the training team to facilitate Kid and Spouse Camps on a monthly basis.

· Ensures a safe fitness environment for all BLUSH® Boot Camp clients.

· Ensures the cleanliness of the workout floor daily.

· Arrive at least 15 minutes before scheduled session.

· Works with the Club Manager to ensure Support Trainers have been scheduled appropriately.

· Any other duties as assigned to ensure proper location operations.

Required Qualifications & Attributes needed, but not limited to:

· Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) from NASM or an equivalent accredited body.

· Must possess strong interpersonal skills and be comfortable working with members of all ages and fitness levels.

· Must be a team player, as all departments must work in sync.

· Understand social media and be able to use it efficiently.

· The ability to assess members fitness levels and apply the appropriate modifications for most exercises, as needed.

· Must have a comprehensive understanding of how to train clients using heart rate zones.

· Must possess a basic understanding of computers and learn the company software in a reasonable timeframe.

· CPR certified (If you are not CPR certified, we will help you become certified)

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience in the fitness industry and sales is strongly preferred, but not required.

Job Type: Full Time

Schedule: Monday – Friday (4:45AM-11:15AM or 12:15AM-depending on day of week.)

Pay: Commensurate with experience.
