Founded in 2015, Hard Truth Distilling Co. produces and releases a variety of premium spirits to market while filling our rackhouse with Indiana rye whiskey and bourbon. Now Indiana's largest destination distillery, Hard Truth lives on a 325-acre wooded campus in Brown County - an artists' colony and tourist destination known for its natural beauty.

Hard Truth Distilling Co. is looking to hire a Tour Operations Manager for our Tours and Tasting center!


Responsibilities:

  • Create a “People First” culture for our employees.

  • Engage in sales growth behaviors.

  • Establishes restaurant business plans to drive results.
  • Be open and receptive to feedback.
  • Demonstrate high level problem solving skills.
  • Effectively communicate to create and validate alignment.
  • Lead LSM program within the store.
  • Validates all orders while developing subordinates.
  • Maintains operations by preparing policies and standard operating procedures, aiming for consistent productivity and quality.
  • Accomplishes restaurant human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training.
  • Demonstrate the ability to create excitement AND accountability.
  • Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy facility by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures.
  • Accomplishes company goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
  • Ability to work for 50-55 hours per week including weekends and holidays.
  • Other task as required.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Current Serv-Safe Certification preferred.
  • Must have or be able to obtain an Alcohol Serving Permit in the state of Indiana.
  • Strong knowledge of front and back of house operations including food, beverages, staff supervision, inventory, and food safety
  • Strong understanding of cost and labor systems that lead to restaurant profitability
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Comfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting
  • Ability to lead big groups of people.
