Handyman

Guardian Fleet Services is looking for a handyman or maintenance handyman. The primary responsibility of a handyman is to conduct upkeep and repairs throughout the facility and around the exterior of the premises.

*
Essential Duties*

• Cleaning interior and exterior of facilities
• Perform maintenance and light repairs
• Painting, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical

• Perform routine landscaping on the grounds
• Identify and report the need for major repairs
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Education, and Experience*

• High school or equivalent (preferred)
• 3 years of relevant experience
• Ability to safely use common power and or hand tools
• Strong communication skills
• Self-starter with good time management skills

Competencies and Abilities

• Strong customer service skills, professional demeanor
• Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment
• Basic mechanical and facility skills with the ability to use tools required for the job
• Attention to detail and accuracy

Physical Requirements*
The job requires lifting, crawling, pulling, constant use of hands, significant bending and reaching, climbing. significant physical strength and stamina. Ability to lift and pull at least 50 lbs. Good hearing and vision are required
