We are looking for an experienced Hairdresser to join our team!
The Hairdresser will provide a variety of beauty and grooming services such as cutting, styling, and coloring hair to for our Residents.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides haircutting services to Residents in our Facility
- Consults with clients to fully understand desired service and final look requested
- sets expectations for results and upkeep needed for treatments and styles
- Ensures safe handling of all materials, including counting sharps before and after each Resident’s appointment
- Follows infection control protocols including disinfecting equipment between each Resident contact
Requirements:
- Graduation from Cosmetology School
- Must be a licensed Barber and keep documentation of licensure current
- Valid state Cosmetology License required for each procedure performed
- At least one year of experience required
- Thorough understanding of current trends in hair styles and infection control
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Thorough understanding of hair styling equipment and maintenance
Proof of COVID Vaccination is required to be eligible for this position.
