This individual will be responsible for the operating, setup, startup/shut down, paperwork, OTIS transactions and the daily running of machines in the formulation department. Must be able to assist and train new team members on the functions of the tenderizer, injector, pickle maker, meat pusher, meat batcher and tumblers on nitrite or non-nitrite side.

Process product using tools and equipment provided

Follows all work safety policies and guidelines

Observes equipment operation, notifying appropriate personnel of any malfunctions and /or safety issues/concerns

Adheres to all USDA and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) product standards and guidelines

Maintains a clean and organized area

Performs other duties as assigned

Accountable to maintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hours

Maintain acceptable times for changeovers on lines

Maintain that team members are rotating positions as required for Ergonomic reasons

Set up machines and trouble shoot issues

Set up and maintain correct code dates

Responsible for correct bags for specific UPC

Maintain minimal downtime

Maintain accurate and legible paperwork

Complete daily line paperwork

Responsible for batching meat correctly and putting into OTIS

Responsible for labeling totes correctly and accurately
