Groom Room maintenance and cleaning, bathing, drying, brushing, toenails and ear cleaning

The groomer assistant oversees cleaning of the grooming areas. All laundry must be taken to the laundry room after they are done using them. All cages must be cleaned once the pet that was in it has left. Tub being cleaned and shampoos filled by the end of the day. Floor being clear and clean by end of day. Groomers are responsible for putting away their tools. If they have not the assistant will leave them on the groomers table to avoid damaging them. The trash and vacuum need to be check daily and changed when needed

Daytime Cleaning Scope of Work for Hospital

Use our cleaning solutions and a shop vac must be used to clean in, around and under things. Make sure you clear vacuuming with a supervisor in case there is a sensitive situation happening or stressed pet.

Surgery has its own vacuum, mop and bucket.

Lobby and Breakroom

• Spot sweeping and mopping of floors if needed
• Chairs and tables wiped down
• Windows/glass doors cleaned
• Wipe counters
• Clean glass on doors
• Clean scale
• Clean sink
• Wipe fridge and microwave
• Wipe phones, keyboards, mouses, and drawer handles
• Tidy and clean coffee area

Exam Rooms

• Sweeping, mop of floors if needed
• Table and chairs wiped down
• Sinks
• Windows and glass on doors cleaned
• Future learning how to restock

Laundry

• Rotate laundry, fold and put away

Bathrooms

• Sweep floor
• Wipe contact surfaces
• Toilets are cleaned at night but check them
• Mirrors cleaned

Surgery Area/X-ray Room/Dental Suite

• Cleaning surgery, xray and dental suite will be trained by our lead Tech as it will require cleaning of medical equipment
• Surgery has its own vacuum and mop equipment

Pharmacy/ Treatment area

• Sweeping and spot mopped if needed
• Counters and chairs wiped down
• Sinks cleaned where applicable
• Recycling removal
• Drawer handles and other contact surfaces cleaned

Isolation Room

Special instructions by Supervisor or Doctors

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
