Graphic Project Coordinator

Areas USA is looking for a detail orientated individual with an eye for design! This will work closely with the Director of Marketing & Communications with a dual approach requiring a strong sense of graphic elements and a desire to lead the simultaneous coordination of several projects.

What you'll do:

· You will manage: You will be the steward of the ticketing system for the marketing department by managing and tracking tickets. You will manage social media by showcasing Areas and developing the newsletter each month.

· You will maintain: You will maintain and further develop current brand identities and style guidelines while gathering inputs from all required parties to move projects forward. You will maintain project files and archives, providing updates and status.

· You will design: Using your eye for presentation, you will design, support, and implement materials in various formats including print, motion graphics & web marketing, and communications initiatives. Using various aspects of production, you will scan, digitally retouch, edit, utilize special effects, file manipulation, and layout design projects.

What will make you successful in this role?

· Working knowledge of graphic designing software in a MAC environment.

· Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) as well as user knowledge of Microsoft Office (Power Point and Excel).

· Knowledge, and/or willingness to learn, motion graphics programs from the Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects) to be able to perform some of the job duties required.

· Experience with both print and web design.

· Drawing /illustration abilities are a plus.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Effective project management skills and ability to multitask.

· Ability to plan, prioritize and organize workload as week as working independently with minimal supervision.

· Ability to work under the pressure of tight deadlines and effectively manage time.

Other Qualifications Include:

· Bachelor’s Degree Fine Arts (Graphic Design).

· 1-2 years of experience in graphic design is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.50 - $25.00 per hour
