Position Overview
The Graphic Designer is responsible for support our marketing team and operations partners by designing, revising, and updating marketing materials across a variety of platforms. The Graphic Designer will work collaboratively with the marketing team to develop effective, consistent, and creative content. The position is based out of the company’s Raleigh Corporate Office reporting directly to the Chief Design & Marketing Officer.
Responsibilities
- Design, revise, and update marketing materials such as web and social ads, email graphics, infographics, presentations, websites, blogs, print materials, merch, and trade show displays according to sales, customer success, and marketing objectives.
- Ability to stay organized and utilize project management systems, with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a consistent, integrated brand perception and user-experience.
- Maintain and elevate the brand aesthetic across all digital touchpoints.
- Ability to create and navigate design workflows using templates and software that make efficient asset creation.
- Create, host, and manage website content using multiple systems.
- Travel when necessary to job sites to gain photo and video content.
- Market Research
- Track assigned KPI’s and report weekly.
- Create visual designs that effectively communicate on-brand messaging, including the design and production of layouts, infographics.
- Ability to turn abstract concepts and messages into compelling visuals.
- Develop clean and effective graphic templates and style guides. Develop templates and easy-to-use designs in Adobe InDesign, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
- Assist in print copy production as required.
- Propose graphic alternatives to text-dense documents.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field or equivalent experience
- 1 years of graphic design experience with a solid understanding of brand identity systems and their application
- 1-2 years of experience in video, editing or motion graphics animation (Premiere, After Effects, Cinema 4D) skills
- Ability to work on multiple projects at once in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of accountability and ownership.
- Thorough understanding of graphic design principles, including composition, screen layout, color theory, and typography as it applies to both web and print.
- Collaborative attitude and the ability to take creative direction and criticism.
- Demonstrated success in designing print, web, and multimedia products that convey complex messaging.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud tools; Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign in both print and digital output
- Determined attention to detail, especially at a fast pace.
- Familiarity working on a PC platform.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Physical Requirements:
- The position is a full time office position based out of the company’s Raleigh Corporate Office
- Position works in an office environment, frequently sitting at a desk working on a computer.
- Frequently read and comprehend large quantities of information.
- Finger dexterity operate computer equipment.
- Frequently speak and hear.
- Occasionally lift, move, and carry up to 25 lbs. independently.
- Occasional travel to various locations
