Title: Grants Compliance Associate

Description:
The Grants Compliance Associate will assist the Project Manager with monitoring, reporting, and compliance processes and procedures, inclusive of data gathering and analysis, to meet grant deliverables. This position will collaborate with the Project Manager in providing timely updates to the Executive Director and key stakeholders to keep parties well-informed of grant progress throughout the grant timeline. The Grants Compliance Associate will ensure the project maintains integrity to the goals and objectives of the project agreement while ensuring the project aligns with the association’s mission and vision. This position is based in Nashville, TN, is non-supervisory, and reports directly to the Executive Director.

Duties:

  • Assist in communicating with internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with Project Manager, other staff, and stakeholders
  • Manage project progress communications and, when necessary, clearly communicate any adaption to scope, timelines, and costs with project sponsor.
  • Remain up to date on all compliance changes and communicate with staff concerning policies, procedures and updates.
  • Aid the Project Manager with creating and submitting required quarterly, semi-annual, and/or annual reports by means of extracting, importing, and exporting data from various databases.
  • Responsible for collecting mid-year and end-year data and reports from grant partners.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate client stakeholders, providing day- to-day contact on project status and changes.
  • Develop genuine relationships with TPA members and other grant partners to help advance the mission of TPA.
  • Research funding opportunities and assist with writing grant proposals with input from executive director and appropriate staff members
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Degree in public health, business or health administration, or communications. Proficient in
Microsoft Office, virtual engagement platforms, and project management tools. Excellent written and verbal communication, editing, and public speaking skills. Experience with data and

trending to drive decisions. Desire to make a difference. Willing to take on responsibility and give away credit. Values work-life integration. Ability to exercise initiative, solve problems creatively, make independent decisions, and prioritize responsibilities. Naturally curious. Great attention to detail, deadlines, and budgetary guidelines. Ability to work with other team members. Project and/or business management experience strongly preferred.

Working Conditions:
Work is performed in normal office setting, in shared office space with personal desk and computer. Typical work week is 40 hours; Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. Flexibility may be granted. Duties of this position include meeting and event attendance outside these hours.

TPA staff are currently flexible working in the office and remotely. TPA’s work schedule will continue to provide flexibility with 3 days/week required at the office, and work-for-your-day for 2 days/week.

Office equipment is provided for home and work offices. Position reports directly to the
Executive Director of the Tennessee Pharmacists Association.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
