Description
Curie is seeking an energetic Grant Writer to focus in all aspects of the grant lifecycle, from managing the grants calendar to monitoring the application process and tracking deadlines.
This candidate will be involved in all aspects of the non-operational client service and fundraising efforts of the team, working directly with the Managing Directors.

Responsibilities*
- Gather data and study findings to back up grant proposals and reports.
- Participate in proactive investor outreach and maintain a funnel of grant opportunities
- Facilitate fundraising efforts of the organization through a constant stream of grants and loans applications
- Monitor grant opportunities, process applications and follow through to get status updates
- Oversee and track all grant milestones including, but not limited to; proposals in development, proposals submitted to funders, proposals that have been issued or canceled, deliverable deadlines, communication, and awards, etc., ensuring that all content is complete and up to date at all times.
Requirements
Skills & Qualifications
- Preferably 1-2 years of grant writing experience working in a start-up environment
- A demonstrated knowledge of fundraising principles and best practices – and knowledge of and experience with Grant Writing.
- Knowledge of start-up investment tools such as AngelList, Crunchbase, PitchBook, Visible.VC, TheBrief, Carta
- Strong communication skills (written, verbal, graphic)
- Excellent analytical abilities, both quantitative and qualitative
