We are currently considering Graduate Nurses for our CVICU Step-Down Unit and at our Level II Trauma Center in Boise! This position will be located at our Regional Medical Center off I-184 and Curtis Rd.

As a RN working in CVICU SDU you will:

• ​Have an opportunity to work in a Level II Trauma Center with a growing cardiac service line
• Be part of a 6 bed unit with an opportunity to grow with the unit
• Provide care for post operative care to our surgical cardiac patients
• Be a fundamental part of a new and exciting cardiac expansion
• Work in a unit with healthy patient ratios
• Have an opportunity to hone your nursing skills as you transition from graduate nurse to professional nurse

Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center is recognized as a Level II Trauma Center and our growing Cardiothoracic Surgery program offers the region's most comprehensive program in a safe, state-of-the-art environment.

What you can expect:

• RN's working in CVICU SDU can expect to care for post operative heart surgery patients that have completed their stay in CVICU
• To have reduced ratios allowing for the opportunity to connect and spend face to face time with patients at the bedside
• The unit offers strong leadership and great opportunities for growth and advancement

What you will need to start work with us:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Idaho
• BLS certification at date of hire
• American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support for HealthCare Provider (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
