About the Position

The Parks and Recreation is actively recruiting for a Golf Park Ranger Aide Limited Term (3 year)!


This Assistant Manager/Park Ranger Aide position works under the general supervision of the Pro Shop Manager/Park Ranger III. We are seeking someone who will assist in the management of the daily golf operations. Various operational assignments include customer relations, Point of Sale operations, answering telephones, various clerical and computer related tasks, restroom cleanliness and supply management, golf cart cleanliness, driving range management, Toptracer Range management, and merchandise sales and inventory management. The perfect candidate will be someone who can excel in a dynamic environment and easily adapts to change.

Park Ranger Aide is part of a career series for Park Ranger Aide, I, II and III. Classes in this series perform a wide variety of unskilled, semi-skilled and skilled duties in the administration, operation and maintenance of county parks, beaches, open space areas, lakes and recreational areas, landscaped areas, buildings and other assigned facilities; and do other related work as required.

The Ideal Candidate

Education and Experience
Park Ranger Aide: Graduation from High School or GED.

Preferred Qualifications: Professional, Clear Communication Skills, Positive attitude, Detail Oriented, & Customer Focused

Additionally, candidates must be willing to work evenings and weekends.
