POSITION SUMMARY

The Outside Services Attendant is responsible for greeting customers upon arrival and maintaining all outdoor areas. Other duties include parking and cleaning carts, assisting with equipment, carrying golf equipment, keeping refreshment areas stocked, and any other duties required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Carrying bags of guests from the trunks of their cars to the golf carts.
• Washing, drying and storing golf carts.
• Cleaning guest's golf clubs.
• Set-up, break down and maintenance of the practice facility.
• Set-up and staging of carts for play in the morning and for tournaments.
• General maintenance of grounds around golf shop, cart barn and parking lot
• Perform other job tasks assigned by the Golf Ops Supervisor and Course Management Staff

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Education: High School Diploma required

Experience: Previous employment with golf course as an Attendant, Ranger of Starter minimum of one season.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of golf operations and rules of play preferred
• Self-starter
• Excellent customer service skills
• Passionate about game of golf

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Outdoors Environment:

• The primary physical environment in which this position works is out of doors with a high exposure level to rain, bugs, sun, heat, lightning, etc...
• The degree of strenuous activity within the job is considered to be high. Often lifting a weight of 40 pounds throughout the day is common.
• Additional strenuous physical activity may include walking or hiking upon uneven, challenging terrain with heavy tools or equipment.
• Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.
• Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.
