Jacobs Entertainment is currently in search of a “Guest Room Attendant/Housekeeping Supervisor Dual Rate” for Gold Dust West Elko. This property features a modern interior with the latest slot machines and table games including Blackjack, Craps, and 3-Card Poker. Across the parking lot is our 80-room Hampton Inn featuring Wi-Fi, a swimming pool, fitness center and a hot breakfast for all guests.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties—Guest Room Attendant:

• Clean Guest rooms according to Hampton brand standards and management’s standards
• Maintain the condition of assigned work cart, linens and supplies
• Stock and restock assigned housekeeping cart daily
• Stripping and stocking linens
• Cleaning and organizing housekeeping/storage/laundry rooms
• Follow all OSHA regulations and Company policies and procedures to ensure a safe work environment.
• Properly use all cleaners and cleaning equipment
• Inspect rooms for consistency and cleanliness
• Assist with inventory
• Assist house/ground attendant and laundry attendants if needed
• Deep cleaning
• Shampoo carpets
• Move furniture
• Comply with all Hampton brand standards.
• Assist with inspecting public areas and hotel rooms for consistency and cleanliness

Skills, Education and Other Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
• Some supervisor experience preferred
• Bilingual preferred but not required
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret OSHA required Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
• Identification that establishes identity
• Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
